Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace, Big Fish tells the story of a young man, William Bloom, trying to reconnect with his dying father through the elder Bloom's tall tales.

December 9th, 2004: It may seem like ages since the film came out, but Big Fish's soundtrack has been nominated for a Grammy!

March 31, 2004: The Big Fish dvd will be released on April 27th, so be sure to pre-order it now so you will be among the first to get it!
January 17, 2004: Better late than never, here's a review of the film by one of the webmasters of this very site!
January 13, 2004: Big Fish opened wide this past weekend, almost knocking Return of the King off the top of the box office. It earned $13.8 million, bringing its total to $23.4 million. It was the biggest opening weekend for a Burton film that didn't have an existing fanbase (such as the Batman films or Planet of the Apes).
January 8, 2004: Big Fish continues to do well on limited release, last weekend it made $2.5 million more in box office. It has also got extremely positive reviews from both fans and critics. And of course as you know, tomorrow is the big day when it opens wide in 2500 theatres, so everybody, grab hold of everyone you know and go see Big Fish together! Tim Burton Collective staff officially recommend this magnificent movie to you :)
December 30, 2003: Last weekend Big Fish expanded from six to 124 theaters and collected an estimated $2.1 million in box office, for a total of $3.5 million. Other box office statistics can be found at Box Office Mojo
