ONE small man has landed a very large role in the movie remake of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory — playing all ten Oompa Loompas.

Casting directors could not find enough small actors to play the tiny workers, who make Willy Wonka’s chocolate.

So director Tim Burton decided to use computer wizardry to clone pint-size Deep Roy, 48, so he can play them all.

Roy, whose previous films include Planet of the Apes and Return Of The Jedi, is picking up a £500,000 cheque for his multiple roles.

A source said: “Roy was delighted when he was told he’d be the only Oompa Loompa.

“His image will be copied to look like all of Willy Wonka’s helpers are in the film.”

The film, starring Johnny Depp as sweet factory boss Wonka, is based on Roald Dahl’s book Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

It will be released here on July 29.

Dahl hated the original 1971 film, which starred Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka, and refused the producers the rights to make the sequel, Charlie and the Glass Elevator.
