Bones video premieres!
For those of you who missed it on MTV yesterday, you can watch Burton's video for "Bones" by The Killers on the MTV website. As you'd expect, it features people stripping down to their skeletons and getting involved in all kinds of shenanigans. There's also a making of video on the site.

i like burtons idea here...but the production feels rushed, i think he could have done a lot more instead of having the band just stand around and sing for most the video. still, it was worth watching.

Way kewl video! I LOVED the Jason and The Argonats (sp?) and Creature from the Black Lagoon being shown in the video! Very funny when the 2 skeletons are running down the beach together (and then run into each other) very From Here to Eternity-ish!
This should get nominated for Best Video Short (or something!)

Im sorry you guys outside the U.S. cant see it :( have you tried going to MTV.com directly and selecting The Killers video that way (instead of going thru the link posted)? If YouTube doesnt carry it either, perhaps ITunes would. I know i can download music videos to my IPod thru ITunes.com, maybe they will let you view it there....for a small fee of course. ;)

I liked the video so far but they didn't show enough of Tim Burton! The ending part of that was really cool! The skeleton was the best part I thought, reminds me of the Nightmare Before Christmas!! Sweet!

i didnt like it, then again i dislike the killers so im biased i guess, not much of it had the burton feel other than the play aperatus and the night fall kinda tint, didnt feel like burton at all, which is sad.

I thought the video was pretty .. bad. I didn't like it at all. It was kinda boring and.. not very original. But, it was good, I guess, thinking of time limit, and Tim is used to have his vision in a longer movie, made over several months. Music videos are made in a few days. So, I guess it's good. I guess I don't lik the singers mustache either
Could definately see his macabre sense of humour in it. Still, yeah, not up to his usual standards. I don't know...Maybe he felt rushed....and ya can't rush genius now, can ya?
Personally I think the only reason it seems rushed is becuase its the killers. the killers are ok.(Im a old time rocker myself) and all thier vids. seem rushed
It accually reminds me of "Mars Attacks" more than any other TB film...once agian it is rushed. But its cute. But, I for one, can tell its a TB peice. Other Vids. on the TV now a days are eather rap(crap is more like it) or really emo bands that suck(MCR). but this is way better than those stupid vids. this is most defintly a Tim Burton Music Vid. (I also hope he dosent sit and just do vids. now...that whould suck)
