Corpse Bride DVD release announced!
According to DVD Times the Region 1 release of Corpse Bride will be on January 31. Extras include several behind the scenes featurettes with the cast and crew and a music only track.
In box office news, the film has now earned $52.5 million in North America and over $80 million worldwide.

but music only track sounds like what we had for Beetlejuice/mars attacks.. Burton really needs to do a commentary.. as he didn't do one for CATCF, but seems pointless Danny doing one.. he tell us much..and we all know his history and proses by now.

johnny depp is such an awesome actor ........like he made the new charlie and the chocolate factory worth watching...dont get me wrong love tim burton ..like seriously the nightmare b4 christmas.,.,awesome!!!but the ooompa loompa(definately not looompas)was scary i mean the last one was scary too but it was oompa loompa scary //not im gonna wake up in cold sweats scary ..ya know...and the songs were so ....pop!! it was disgusting i mean they didn't even throw in the obvious choice for old memories and good timess/././. not even a little piece,.,.but johnny depp was hillariously creepy imean if it didn't say johnny depp and i wasn't obsessing over what movie he was going to be in next than i wouldn't have even known that it was johnny depp.,.,he's that good!!!! omg i love himm...and another thing the old man the grandfather figure in the movie.//could he even act or did they just cast some senile old man,.who thought the movie was his life,/.,/.?? im sry and no offense to anyone but he was soooo bad i felt embarressed for him watching it.,.i just can't undestand why casting didn't do a better job but it was definately interesting and johnny depp m,ade it a must have in my collection.,.,anyone up for some fear and loathing in las vegas?>?>barbie out bitches

Come on, honey, work with me here. Grandpa Joe's character is supposed to be a nice old man who still has a little childish spark somewhere inside him, despite the fact that he must be at least 90 years old in the movie.
David Kelly (the guy who played him), he certainly isn't senile--he played the part beautifully.
He may not be John Travolta when he dances around, but that makes him endearing. He's really old, remember? Have you read the book, I wonder?
And if you claim to love Tim Burton so much, why do you doubt his judgment in casting? He may not have been the one doing it, but he does have SOME say in it. I highly doubt he would let someone who is not qualified play such an important part in the movie.
As for Corpse Bride, I am looking forward to it and will have the guys at Blockbuster scrambling for me on the 31st. :)
David Kelly is a terrific actor. Johnny Depp sais David Kelly was his hero when he was at the Irish film awards. Oh and corpse bride is great. And for that guy who said Henry Selleck produced James and the giant peach is wrong. Henry Selleck did direct it.

Yeah i cant wait, to make it worse i will have to see the dvd at work like a week or 2 before its street date, so its going to make the want that much more. Also I will get any of the stands/posters that kind of stuff we get for the movie over at worl.

I just found out that the Blockbuster near my home will have Corpse Bride on DVD early! I can't remember the exact date but it's either Dec.23 or Dec.29. Horray!
time goes by quickly, then we die. it'll take no time at all for the DVD to come out. i really want it, i've a Tim Burton fan since i was a small child, but i am not going to wish time to go by faster. life is short enough (but the afterlife will be more fun!)

I can not wait untill Corpse Bride comes out on DVD and VHS! Only a few more days! Jan. 31 is almost here. I have watched this movie so much that I know all the lines! I am so excited! I also can't wait to see his next film rumor has it with Jim Carry! Not what I would expect with Tim, but if he's directing it then it is going to be good! And I also can't wait to see if Edward Scissorhands is going to come to Ohio!
