Too bad I didn't win but the winner's drawings and sculptures are amazing! I love the grand prize winner's sculpture. That's original! In case anyone's wondering, I drew a skeleton lawer with nails in his nose.

I thought 2nd runner up's artwork was very reflective of tim burton's work. The winner was way too creepy.But i love it! har har! hurrah to the winners.

yeah I was the first one who posted in this topic, but I'll say it again, "Congrats to the winners!" They really were phenomenal! but I would also love to see all the other entries!

I dont mean to be a butt about this but i thought the whole point was to make a character of your own in a Corpse Bride style and like half of those winners had characters that look just like from the movie...so yeh if anyones with me on that..

Thank you very much, Amy! :) Actually, I submitted two pictures and the one in the middle was sent just for company. :) I did not expect it to be shown. The best picture in my opinion was one that I submitted too late.
Amanda, I shall unveil this mystery. :)) The picture you asked about is of the young Emily (before she became a corpse). Somehow I got the feeling that her mother died when Emily was very small and wasn't by her side when the tragic event occurred. It is her portait that hangs on the wall in Emily's room. It was said that her mother's wedding dress fit like a glove, so I think they looked alike too. There is also a little butterfly by the lamp which is similar to the one Victor set free.
Mirrorkask, I think your art is very lovely. :D Your pictures deserved first place.
What a wonderful idea! I would looove to see a movie about Emily as a child! ^-^ My favorite pictures were the first place winner and yours! I wish I could draw like that... *cries and moans* :B

deos anyone know whats the best type of clay to use-i made a bowl recently with skelitons in it but it comletely fell apart......
